Wherever you go or wherever you look, the world seems to always be running on negativity. The media survives on this garbage— “Such and such is bad for you, bad for the environment, look at how much our economy sucks, this stupid person did something abhorrent today.”
Well, I’m tired of that. I strive to see the beauty in the world. It’s there! I’ve seen it.
This tumblr is about seeing all that beauty that exists in the world around us. I will fill it with everything that makes me happy, brings me bliss, and inspires me. True, there are things in the world that are happening that are horrible, but this isn’t glossing over that fact. I think everyone needs a reminder that happiness and beauty still exist. And so, this idea is what birthed this blog.
I know the idea isn’t original, but this will be my little piece of happiness— My little corner of sunshine (and sunflowers!) on the web.
